Nakheel awards Dh1.4bn construction contract

Contract is for the development of a three–tower residential, retail and beach club development on the Palm Jumeirah

 Nakheel said on Tuesday it has awarded a construction contract worth almost Dh1.4 billion to Ssangyong Engineering & Construction’s Dubai branch and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East).

The contract is for the development of a new, three–tower residential, retail and beach club development on the Palm Jumeirah, according to an emailed statement.

Work is expected to begin in the first quarter this year and take just over two years, the statement said.
