Mohammed to 'interact' online during World Govt Summit

Starting today, HH Shaikh Mohammed will take questions from his10 million followers on social media and answer them on February 8. The summit will begin on February 7 in Dubai.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will be taking questions from the public ahead of Monday's World Government Summit.

In a series of tweets, Shaikh Mohammed said that the Summit - which will include over 3,000 participants and delegates of 125 governments - is designed to help the world's leaders better cope with the challenges of the future.

"Our objective from the #World_Government_Summit is to prepare all government officials around the world for the future, which holds huge changes in all aspects for all of us," he tweeted.

"Beginning today, I will receive your questions on the hashtag(s) #?????_????????_???????? #World_Government_Summit, and the dialogue will revolve around the future of education, health, cities of the future, government services, among others," he added.

Shaikh Mohammed added that questions will be answered on February 8 at 6.30pm over the course of an hour.

Among the speakers at the World Government Summit will be U.S. President Barack Obama, who will give a televised address on the opening day. Additionally, Rwandan President Paul Kagame will recount his experiences bringing one million Rwandan citizens out of poverty.
